PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAMS Dr. Dynasaur Provides low cost or free healthcare coverage for children, teens under age 18 and pregnant women. Eligibility is based on household income and family size.

VHAP Provides low cost low income adjusted healthcare coverage for those age 18 and older who have been uninsured for 12 months or more. Eligibility is based on income and family size
Family Size Monthly Income Adult with no children $1,359.00 Parent/family of 2 $2,256.00 Parent/family of 3 $2,836.00 Parent/family of 4 $3,415.00
MEDICAID Provides low cost or free healthcare coverage for children, young adults under age 21, parents, pregnant women, caretaker relatives, people who are blind or disabled, and those age 65 or older Eligibility is based on family size and household income
CATAMOUNT HEALTH Provides low cost healthcare coverage for Vermonters: • Age 18 or older and families who are not eligible for existing state programs such as Medicaid and VHAP. • Who have been uninsured for 12 months or more, with exceptions for those who have lost insurance coverage because of a life change or who have had insurance coverage for the last 6 months with a deductible of $10,000.00 or for an individual, or $20,000.00 or more for a family. • Who do not have access to health insurance through an employer It is based on family size and income.

RUTLAND REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FREE CARE PROGRAM: Provides free or reduced cost care for hospital services. Eligibility is based on Federal Poverty Guidelines, and is updated April 1st each year.
