We need a caring, compassionate, warm person to manage our Breast Care Program. This program was conceived in 2000 and implemented in 2001. The program continues to grow in all directions. In your role of Manager of this program, you will oversee a team of approximately 3 nurses and 2 support staff. You will provide heath care guidance to patients, leadership to the staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to map out a seamless system for patient breast health pathways. You will also work closely with our Cancer Center Medical Director, Surgeons, OB/Gyns, Radiologists, Pathologists, and Primary Care Physicians as an advocate for all.
We are looking for a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist program, current Registered Nurse with Advanced Practice endorsement in the State of Vermont. Current CPR and ACLS certification required.
This a fulltime, week day position. No call or weekends required. Involvement in educational outreach programs encouraged.
We provide top of the line diagnostics such as mammography, MRI, and 64 slice CT scanning with 24 hour result turn around for negative studies and a database that tracks every aspect of all patients.
The program is partially supported by Grant money from Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
