The Breast Care Program at Rutland Regional Medical Center invites you to come help them “Pink Up the Park” on Saturday, October 12, 9am-2pm at Depot Park, Rutland. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Pink Day at Depot Park is the Breast Care Program’s official kick-off event.
Stop by their booth to learn more about Breast Cancer by participating in educational stations based on the games Risk, Roulette and Chance. You will receive a gift just for visiting the booth and participating in one of the games, and get entered into the Grand Prize drawing with a chance to win either a Farmshare for 2013 or Home Heating Fuel valued at $200.00.
Stop by the Rutland County Farmers Market in Depot Park on Saturday, October 12 and join Susan G. Komen For The Cure® in supporting this important event. Early detection still provides the best treatment options for breast cancer; therefore yearly mammograms just make sense. Rutland Regional’s Digital Mammography provides you and your doctor with the best technology available and can detect a problem years before a lump can be felt in a self exam.
