Surgical Services Patients undergoing inpatient or ambulatory (also called outpatient) surgery at Rutland Regional Medical Center receive personal attention from the moment their procedures are scheduled.
A team of surgical professionals provide personalized, pre-surgical education for patients and their loved ones, as well as offer comfort and communication throughout the process. After surgery, the team will also assist with referrals for post-operative care and home health resources when required.

More than 30 skilled surgeons in 9 specialty areas use the hospital's spacious, modern surgical suite, supported by a team of certified operating room nurses, Registered Nurses, anesthesiologists and others.

The surgical suite contains five operating rooms and two ambulatory care procedure rooms, as well as multiple recovery areas and comfortable waiting rooms.
