A native of Vermont from Bristol, Brad Jimmo received his Doctorate in Medicine from UVM College of Medicine in 1996 before completing his Surgical residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care in 2002.
Dr. Jimmo has served extensively both at Rutland Regional Medical Center and in professional organizations, including as Vice President of the Rutland County Medical Society and he holds an appointment as Clinical Instructor from the UVM College of Medicine.
Certified by the American Board of Surgery since 2003, Dr. Jimmo’s practice interests at Rutland General Surgery include the breadth of general surgery with a particular interest in vascular surgery, varicose veins, endoscopy, including colonoscopy, office-based minimally invasive surgery and ultrasound, including holding a certificate as a Registered Vascular Technologist.
He lives in Hinesburg, Vermont with his family. Dr. Jimmo travels extensively and his interests include fishing, hunting, flying, woodworking and family. A pilot himself, he is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
