Health Information Library
Find answers to your health questions in Rutland Regional's Health Information Library. Located on the ground floor of the hospital near the CVPS/Leahy Community Health Education Center and Employee Entrance, the library has a room dedicated to patient and community health filled with magazines, books, journals and DVDs on a wide range of health conditions. There is also a computer onsite for hospital visitors to use, as well as subscriptions to specialized databases for searching medical literature. You can also call the Library and request that information be mailed to you.
The Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and there is a trained medical librarian on staff Monday through Thursday. If assistance is required from the librarian, it is recommended that you call ahead to ensure the Librarian's availability at 802.747.3777. The librarian is available for consultation, help in tracking down the best internet information, printing handouts for you to take home, and searching the medical literature for evidence-based articles on treatments and conditions.
If you have a question about library services, resources or search topics you can call or email the librarian at 802.747.3777.
