Established in 1996 in memory of the late Rutland Regional Medical Center President/CEO James T. Bowse, the Community Health Trust works to create a healthier community through funding collaborative, community-based health programs. Each year, the Trust awards grants to new projects that improve access and affordability of health and human services, increase prevention efforts that lead to healthier lifestyles and reduce substance abuse.
The James T. Bowse Community Health Trust has suspended grant funding for an undetermined period of time, This decision has been made as the declines in the financial market has made a negative impact on the available grant funds. The next grant cycle will be announced as a future date.
