Our diabetes and endocrinology team consists of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, and nutritionists, all of whom are committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care. Becoming a Patient

If you have diabetes or another endocrine condition, we can help. Learn how easy it is to become a patient. If you are at risk for diabetes, we encourage you to attend one of our free Diabetes Prevention classes.

Physician Referral

If you’re interested in seeking treatment at the Rutland Diabetes & Endocrinology Center, you will need a referral from your physician or nurse practitioner. This ensures that you, your provider and our specialists are collaborating for your health and treatment right from the start. your provider is involved from the start. Please call his/her office to learn which forms and information are required for referral within your insurance plan.

Insurance Coverage

Most insurance companies cover the cost to diagnose and treat diabetes and endocrine disorders. Many also pay for all or a portion of diabetes education services. Please check with your insurance provider to learn about your coverage and to find out about the copayments and referral requirements for your particular medical situation. Our staff is familiar with the requirements of many insurance companies and can help with your insurance coverage questions.

Appointments

Appointments with the Rutland Diabetes & Endocrinology Center care team are available on:

  • Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm
  • Friday, 8am-12noon

To schedule an appointment that suits your schedule, please contact our office at 802.775.7844. We request that you kindly provide at least 24 hours notice in the event you must cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Free Diabetes Prevention Classes

Are you at risk? Our diabetes educators offer free monthly classes for people who have a higher chance of developing diabetes. Take a risk assessment and get more information on what to do to lower your risk.
