Diagnostic Imaging Team

Rutland Regional’s multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging team works collaboratively to provide patients and their families with the best possible care. This team includes:

• Radiologists. Board-certified physicians specially trained to use images to diagnose illness and injuries, stage disease and collaboratively work with other physicians to help determine a patient’s best treatment plan.
  

• Radiologic Technologist. Experienced, licensed health professionals specially trained in diagnostic imaging and scanning technology.
  

• Clinical Nurse Manager. A registered nurse responsible for the quality and continuity of care that Rutland Regional’s diagnostic imaging patients receive.
  

• Diagnostic Imaging Nurses. Registered nurses experienced in caring for diagnostic imaging patients before, during and after a procedure.
  

• Breast Care Coordinator. A registered nurse based in Rutland Regional’s Breast Care Program whose primary responsibility is to guide, support and coordinate the care of women dealing with breast health or breast cancer issues.
