Foley Cancer Center researchers and physicians work collaboratively with organizations like the National Cancer Institute, pharmaceutical companies and large cancer centers from throughout the country to provide patients with the latest clinical trial treatment options.

Cancer clinical trials are studies involving people that are designed to answer questions about:

• The Treatment of Cancer
• Finding or Diagnosing Cancer
• Preventing Cancer
• Managing the Side Effects of Cancer
• Managing the Side Effects from Treatment

Many treatments used today are the result of past clinical trials.  Participating in a clinical trial may be one option for treatment that you discuss with your doctor.
