Cancer Support Groups

Patients and families can access help and support through groups designed specifically for men and women dealing with cancer as well as their caregivers.

  • Caregiver Support. This essential service is provided by two area organizations, the Interage Caregiver Support Group at 802.747.3587and Rutland County Caregiver Coalition at 802. 772.2471.
  • Man to Man Support Group. A support group for men with prostate cancer to share concerns, exchange information, and offer and receive support. Meets from 5:30-7pm the fourth Wednesday of each month at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Spouses welcome. Call 802.773.4848 for details.
  • Northshire Women’s Cancer Support Group. A free group professionally facilitated that meets from 5:30-7:30pm the first Wednesday of each month in the Activities Room of Equinox Terrace, 324 Equinox Terrace in Manchester Center. Call 802.384.5505 for details.
  • Woman to Woman Support Group.  A support group for cancer patients and survivors that meets the first Tuesday of every month from 5-7pm in Rutland Regional Medical Center’s CVPS/Leahy Community Health Education Center. New members are always welcome. Call 802.747.1693 for details.
