Many conditions of the upper extremities can be resolved or improved with non-surgical methods while others may require surgical intervention. Our hand care team includes a board-certified hand and microvascular surgeon as well as physical and occupational therapists specializing in hand and arm rehabilitation. You may also be seen by a certified hand therapist who has achieved an advanced level of expertise through additional training.

This team will work together to create a treatment plan appropriate for your individual needs, designed to return you to an active lifestyle as quickly and as safely as possible.

Treatment Options may Include:

  • Physical Therapy. Exercise and Methodologies Designed to Regain and/or Increase Strength, Mobility, and Functionality
  • Occupational Therapy. Exercises Designed to Help Regain or Adjust Skills Needed for Normal Daily Activities
  • Modalities. Heat, Ice, Ultrasound or Electrical Stimulation Used to Relieve Pain and Promote Movement
  • Splinting. Splints Worn During Rest and/or Work to Promote Healing, Reduce Pain, and Improve Functionality
  • Minimally Invasive Surgery. Arthroscopic Procedures Used to Correct Issues and Expedite Recovery
  • Wound Healing Treatments. Electrical Modalities and Debridement Techniques to Promote Tissue Repair
