RRMC 340B benefit has declined by 32% since 2021 due to manufacturer restrictions on drug eligibility and distribution.
RRMC passed along a 1.2% commercial insurance rate increase in 2024 to cover 340B program losses.
340B program savings are at no cost to taxpayers.
340B eligibility for maximum DSH benefit is at risk due to declining Medicaid inpatient utilization with post COVID Medicaid reenrollment requirements and lower COVID related Supplemental Security Income ratio.
