RRMC Patient Portal

While the physicians and advance practice providers at Rutland Regional play an important role in the health of our community, the person who has the single biggest impact is you. Self-management of our medical conditions is a hugely important part of medical care, and to do this effectively all patients must have easy and immediate access to their medical records. That is why, for the past two years we have been working to overhaul our patient portal, the digital front door of Rutland Regional. Banking, travel, credit, retail shopping and even home security can be mostly or completely managed online, but often, healthcare is only accessed in person or in the records department. Online access is convenient and allows you to manage your health and medical appointments.

Our redesign has many features of which the most highly used is access to almost all available clinical information including problems, medications, labs, vitals, and provider notes. This is the fastest way to see this information as it is posted as soon as the results become available. Another commonly used features is for appointments. This allows you to view upcoming appointments, request a reschedule or cancellation of your current appointments or make new appointments. We have implemented a messaging system to send and receive messages to Rutland Regional clinics for both clinical and non-clinical questions. Finally, enrollment has never been easier with a newly redesigned self-enrollment system which allows established patients to sign up from the RRMC.org home page.

While many may choose to access the portal from a web browser, there is a dedicated smartphone app that provide an optimized experience on these devices called HealtheLife available on both Apple and Android devices.

NOTE: Not everyone will qualify for self-enrollment. If you do not qualify, you can still enroll in-person at Outpatient Registration located on the main floor at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

As digital health becomes increasingly complex it is more and more likely that patients have multiple portals from multiple health systems. For this reason, we have built connections to both Apple Health and OneRecord to allow for integration of multiple portals and other health information in one source. This will allow patients to best manage their health and truly partner with the healthcare community to achieve the best possible outcomes.
