Welcome Jessica J. Baughman, MS, PA-C, Intensive Care
Baughman received her undergraduate degree at Wichita State University, before completing her MS in Physician Assistant also at Wichita State University. Baughman comes to Rutland Regional from Garden City, Kansas, where she worked at St. Catherine Hospital since 2016.
“Critical Care is hard, intricate medicine. And it’s lifesaving medicine. I want my patients to feel confident they understand what’s happening and why they are in the ICU.”
Baughman chose Critical Care as her specialty after experiencing what it’s like to have a loved one being cared for in an ICU. It is extremely important to her to be able to translate the complexity of care to her patients and families in a way that makes sense.
Baughman’s move to Vermont from her home state of Kansas is an exciting change for her. She is looking forward to exploring all that Vermont has to offer.
Welcome Gerard Beaudry, ACNP, Intensive Care
Gerard received his Masters in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies from the University of South Carolina. Gerard has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2014 specializing in Adult and Geriatric Acute Care Medicine. Gerard has worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and most recently in the Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont. For the past 18 years he has also served as a police officer for the town of Charleston, NH. He is also certified as an Emergency Management Technician (EMT) and Paramedic.
“I know how stressful critical illness can be for families, and I try to involve them as much as possible in the care of their loved one. I want them to be able to approach me with any of their questions or concerns.”
Gerard helps with his family’s dairy farm in Charlestown, New Hampshire where he still resides.
Welcome Loriann Daley, CRNA, MSN, Anesthesiology
Loriann received her BSN in 2007 from Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA, and her MSN/Nurse Anesthetist in 2015 from UPMC Hamot School of Anesthesia, affiliated with Gannon University, Erie, PA.
“What is most important to me in delivering exceptional patient care is making sure the patient is very comfortable, secure, and feels safe with the experience.”
Prior to joining Rutland Regional, Loriann had worked as a CRNA with Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA. Loriann is an avid runner and reader, who resides in Belmont, Vermont with her husband and three daughters.
Dr. Dudzik received her undergraduate degrees in Microbiology and Spanish from Michigan State University, a Masters from Wayne State University, and medical degree from Brown University. She completed her residency in General Surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
“Becoming a surgeon has allowed to me to combine my love of science with the use of clinical knowledge and technical skills to help significantly improve the lives of my patients.”
Dr. Dudzik enjoys knitting, traveling and is involved in canine rescue. She is also a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts and a recipient of their prestigious Gold Award.
Dr. Flannery received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and History from the University of Toronto, and his Master of Science, Medical Degree, and Masters in Hyperbaric Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands. Dr. Flannery completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. He is board-certified in Family Medicine.
“My philosophy of care begins with developing a strong partnership with the patient, understanding their needs, and supporting them.”
Dr. Flannery and his wife have two children and are greatly looking forward to enjoying all of the recreational opportunities that Vermont has to offer.
Welcome James Geiling, MD, MPH, Intensive Care
Dr. Geiling received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University, Medical Degree from Uniformed Services University, and Masters in Public Health from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
Dr. Geiling completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Letterman Army Medical Center, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal and critical care medicine, and has been practicing since 1991. Dr. Geiling spent 25 years as an Army Physician retiring as a Colonel. Most recently he had been the Chief of Medicine at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont.
“It is my goal to provide timely, current, and cost effective quality care that meets patients clinical, social, and emotional needs,” said Dr. Geiling.
Dr. Geiling and his wife reside in Hanover, NH.
Dr. Hurtado received his BS in Biology from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Hurtado completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
“My focus is to ensure patient satisfaction and the best outcomes for my patients. I want to give them the best medical care possible.”
Dr. Hurtado is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and diving. He and his wife have one daughter, and will be residing in Rutland Town.
Dr. Karl will be affiliated with Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic, specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. Dr. Karl received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and Medical Degree from Columbia University School Medicine. He also completed his residency at Columbia and a fellowship with NYU Langone Orthopaedic Hospital in New York, New York.
“I believe in treating my patients like family, always keeping in mind their perspective. I also want them to be aware of the other services available at Rutland Regional that can help them.”
Dr. Karl is married and resides in Killington. He and his wife are outdoor enthusiasts who especially enjoy running and skiing.
Dr. Linderman will be specializing in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy for the Management of Chronic Pain. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University, Chicago, IL. She completed a fellowship in Health Psychology with Baylor, Scott, and White Medical Center in Temple, TX, and an internship with Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Cheyenne, WY. Dr. Linderman is credentialed in Clinical Psychology.
“My mother is a nurse, and she encouraged me to volunteer at a nursing home when I was a teenager. I see healthcare as a way of giving back to others. As a psychologist I have always been fascinated by the integration of physical and mental health and how they influence each other.”
Dr. Linderman enjoys hiking, kayaking and baking. She resides with her partner in North Chittenden, VT.
Dr. Nina Narasimhadevara received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. She completed her residency in 2016 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA, and a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Vermont in June, 2018.
Dr. Narasimhadevara resides in Williston, Vermont.
“I come from a family of physicians. My father is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and my mother an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. I have seen how their delivery of care made such a positive impact in the lives of their local community, and how widely respected they are.”
Dr. Pruett received his Bachelor of Arts in German from Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama, his Medical Degree and Masters of Public Health from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
“My philosophy of care is to be totally focused on the patient during our interactions. To actively listen to their concerns and let them know that they are being heard.”
Dr. Pruett completed his internship and residency in psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology and has been practicing since 2010.
Dr. Pruett, his husband and their three-year-old daughter will be residing in Manchester, Vermont.
Dr. Saini received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Toronto, Canada, and Medical Degree from St. George’s University, Grenada. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, an affiliate Yale University School of Medicine, and fellowships with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and Leadership Preventative Medicine. She is board certified in Endocrinology Disease and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Saini enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing with her husband and two children.
“It’s important for patients to understand their health issues. My goal is to provide to provide insight into diseases processes and medical treatments, so we can create individualized evidence-based treatment plans. Maintaining health is an ongoing process, and we will succeed best we if work together to find high value, effective approaches that work best for them.”
Dr. Seidler's clinical expertise includes COPD, Thoracic Oncology and Asthma. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonology.
Dr. Seidler received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med and Respiratory Care from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
“I like to create a personal connection with my patients. This helps to integrate medical treatment into their lives and helps enable patient engagement.”
Dr. Seidler is married with two children. He and his family enjoy being outdoors playing soccer, hiking, biking and skiing.
Jeffrey received his BA in Business Economics from SUNY Potsdam and MS in Medical Science in the Physician Assistant Program at Albany Medical College.
“One of my strengths is connecting with patients immediately helping to make them feel more comfortable and secure. I do everything I can to make things better for them.”
Jeffrey and his wife have two children, and Jeffrey worked as an EMT with the local Emergency Medical Service in West Sand Lake, New York.
