  • Rutland Regional Reopens COVID Unit 5/17/2022

    Due to rising numbers of COVID cases, Rutland Regional has reopened our COVID unit to care for patients in need.

  • DAISY Award Winners Announced 5/16/2022

    Throughout the year, nurses are nominated by patients, families, and colleagues. All nominations are thoroughly reviewed through a blinded process by the Nursing Shared Governance Council and the Council selects each year’s Individual, Team, and Leader DAISY winners.

  • Leapfrog 5/10/2022

    Rutland Regional Medical Center has once again received an “A” grade from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, this time for the Spring 2022 grading period. The “A” grade is a national distinction recognizing Rutland Regional’s achievements in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.

  • Subaru Share the Love 5/9/2022

    Rutland Subaru donated more than $6,600 from the 2021 Subaru Share the Love® event to support palliative care services at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

  • 2022 Annual Meeting 4/7/2022

    The Wednesday meeting was the first time Rutland Regional has held an Annual Meeting in person since the pandemic took hold early in 2020. Roughly 100 members of the hospital corporation, called “corporators,” as well as the public turned out to hear from hospital leadership as well as the governor.

  • 2021 Providers of the Year 3/31/2022

    Rutland Regional announces the 2021 Physician and NP/PA of the Year and the 2021 Rutland Community Primary Care Physician and NP/PA of the Year.

  • Visitation Policy is Relaxed 3/23/2022

    As of March 23, patients at Rutland Regional will be allowed to have more friends and family visitors since COVID rates have declined.

  • Scholarship Deadline Extended 3/14/2022

    The Rutland Area Medical Community Scholarship committee has extended the application deadline from March 15 to April 15, 2022 for qualified candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.

  • Baby Sleep Day is March 1, 2022 3/1/2022

    Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Women’s & Children’s Unit and Birthing Center (WACU) recognizes Baby Sleep Day, which is Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

  • Visitation Restrictions Change, Vaccine Clinic Closes 2/10/2022

    Rutland Regional Medical Center will expand visitation for patients, allowing each patient to have two consistent visitors. COVID-19 cases are trending down in Rutland and across Vermont and the hospital closes its public COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
