Due to rising numbers of COVID cases, Rutland Regional has reopened our COVID unit to care for patients in need.
Throughout the year, nurses are nominated by patients, families, and colleagues. All nominations are thoroughly reviewed through a blinded process by the Nursing Shared Governance Council and the Council selects each year’s Individual, Team, and Leader DAISY winners.
Rutland Regional Medical Center has once again received an “A” grade from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, this time for the Spring 2022 grading period. The “A” grade is a national distinction recognizing Rutland Regional’s achievements in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.
Rutland Subaru donated more than $6,600 from the 2021 Subaru Share the Love® event to support palliative care services at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
The Wednesday meeting was the first time Rutland Regional has held an Annual Meeting in person since the pandemic took hold early in 2020.
