Paul Gallo, a Rutland painting contractor, was elected to the Rutland Regional Medical Center Board of Directors at the hospital′s recent annual meeting.
"Our board members provide guidance and oversight to ensure that we are fulfilling our mission to the community," said Tom Huebner, President and CEO of Rutland Regional Medical Center. "Our Board members devote countless hours of time to our organization and our community. They serve as volunteers and are charged with making decisions that help to enhance healthcare in our community. We thank them for this significant contribution to our hospital."
Gallo is the owner and operator of Rutland′s Magic Brush Painting, one of northern New England′s largest painting contractors servicing four states. Gallo, a community advocate and champion has worked on the redevelopment of Center Street Marketplace, the creation of the Rutland Creek Path and the Wonderfeet Kids′ Museum. He has served as a Board member with Rutland Free Library, Rutland Head Start, Vice-President of the Paramount Theatre Board, Chair of the Rutland Creative Economy, the Italian-American Club and numerous advisory committees for local non-profits.
