Rutland Regional Hosts Come Alive Outside Planting Event on Hospital Grounds

On Friday, June 28, Come Alive Outside and Carpenter & Costin Landscaping will lead a spring planting event at Rutland Regional Medical Center to plant squash and sunflowers with the help of volunteers from GE Aviation – Rutland, Rutland Regional and members of the community. The plants were started from seeds planted indoors in early June by local elementary school children. Normally, the children would have planted the seeds in the garden but due to the unusual wet spring, the outdoor planting event needed to be cancelled. The planting event on June 28 will take place in the fields behind the walking loop at Rutland Regional between 10-12pm.
