Rutland Regional named a High Performing Hospital for Knee Replacement by U.S. News & World Report

US News logoFor the third year in a row, Rutland Regional Medical Center has been named as a High Performing Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for Knee Replacement. More than 4500 medical centers nationwide were evaluated in nine procedures and conditions with fewer than a third of all hospitals receiving any high performing rating.

Rutland Regional is the only hospital in Vermont to earn a “High Performing” rating for Knee Replacement, in recognition of care that was significantly better than the national average as measured by factors such as patient outcomes. “High Performing” is the highest rating U.S. News & World Report awards for that type of care.

We are immensely honored to receive this recognition by US News & World Report for the third consecutive year,” said Claudio Fort, President and CEO of Rutland Regional. “This award represents the outstanding dedication of our clinicians and support staff to patient care and improving patient outcomes.”

The awards and recognition Rutland Regional received over the years illustrates the organization’s commitment to patient safety, outstanding clinical outcomes, high performing procedures, advanced technology, nursing excellence and patient and employee engagement. These awards serve to underscore the organization’s focus on providing exceptional care for all patients.
