Bowse Health Trust 2021 Grant Applications Open
The James T. Bowse Health Trust announces the opening of the 2021 grant cycle with Letters of Intent due on June 15, 2021. The Trust focuses its funding on new projects that support a healthier life for residents in the Rutland Region.
“We know that fostering good health starts well before medical care is needed,” said Jamie Bentley, MPH, Community Impact Coordinator at Rutland Regional Medical Center and the Bowse Health Trust. “Health begins where we live, learn, work and play and these grants support programs that foster healthy community and programs.”
Successful letters and projects will address the priority areas identified in the 2018 Community Health Needs Assessment. Priority areas include, housing, childcare and parenting, supporting the aging community, and mental health. Additionally, COVID-19 Gaps, will remain a priority area as the pandemic continues to create significant barriers to better health for many in our community.
This year, the Bowse Health Trust will host a one-hour virtual information session the afternoon of Monday, May 3. The session will cover the Letter of Intent and the proposal process as well as highlight health equity grant requirements. Register for the informational session here>>>
