2021 Pharmacist & Pharmacy Technician of the Year
In July, the Vermont Society of Health-System Pharmacists (VTSHP) announced their 2021 Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician of the year, bestowing the honor on two individuals from Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Saisha Branchaud, PharmD, BCPS, the Director of Pharmacy Services, was named the 2021 Pharmacist of the Year. She was recognized for her “steadfast leadership” during the past year and for stepping up to serve on the frontline during the COVID-19 vaccine roll out.
Sara Miles, Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) was named 2021 Pharmacy Technician of the Year. She was recognized for being the “glue that keeps our pharmacy together” as well as taking a lead role in staff education and process improvement with COVID-19 vaccinations.
