Rutland Regional Medical Center is offering a Free Couch to 5k Training Program to the community. This program is for walkers who want to increase pace and endurance, as well as for runners.
Participants will be guided gradually so that the 5k, which is 3.1 miles, can be successfully achieved. This free training will be led by coaches from Rutland Regional Medical Center and involves 30 minute sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
This program is designed for those who have been leading an inactive lifestyle but want to start being active. Our Couch to 5k training program will help improve your condition over 9 weeks to enable you to run or power walk a 5k. A limited number of registrations are available.
