Sylvia Banov, PT, DPT

About Me

Sylvia Banov PT, DPT is a dedicated Physical Therapist that has been practicing since 2019 after graduating with her Doctorate from the University of St. Augustine. Sylvia is pursuing her manual therapist certification and has taken continuing education classes allowing her to practice vestibular rehab. She has extensive experience working with pre/post-op orthopedic cases, various neurological disorders and holds a special interest in restoring gait and balance.

Sylvia is new to Vermont and joined Rutland Regional Medical Center in May 2023. She prides herself on embodying a patient-centered approach that places the well-being and comfort of patients at the forefront of her practice. She uses evidence-based practice to assist her patients in enhancing functional movement, regaining independence, and achieving their goals.

In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is taking full advantage of all the outdoor activities Vermont has to offer including downhill skiing, hiking, biking, camping and stand-up paddle boarding.
