About Me

Gerard Beaudry is a member of the Critical Care team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Gerard holds board certifications as both an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Gerard received a Masters in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. He has practiced Critical Care medicine since 2014.

When not in the ICU, Gerard still practices pre-hospital and transport medicine as a Flight Nurse with the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Centers Advanced Response Team, DHART. He has been a licensed paramedic since 2002, and is also a certified fire fighter, serving his home community of Charlestown, NH, as their fire chief.

I know how stressful critical illness can be for patients and families. Important life-changing decisions often need to be made in short periods of time. It's important to me to be able to develop open and transparent conversations with patients and families and help them to make the right decisions for their unique set of circumstances.
