Biography
A native of Groton, Connecticut, Adam Coleman graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Philosophy Minor from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2009 from Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. Dr. Coleman completed an Internal Medicine Residency and his Fellowship in Cardiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Coleman is an Instructor in Medicine at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and has received numerous Excellence in Teaching awards.
A lifelong advocate of community service, Dr. Coleman spent two weeks in Lourdes, France as a hospital volunteer for religious pilgrims, volunteered at an afterschool program for underprivileged children in Albany, NY, spent six weeks in St. Lucia working at a center for mentally challenged and disabled children and troubled teenage girls. He most recently provided pulmonary and critical care medicine to an underserved population in Connecticut.
Certified by the Board of Internal Medicine since 2013, Dr. Coleman’s goal is to practice cardiology with an emphasis in non-invasive imaging.
Dr. Coleman enjoys fly fishing, golf, baseball, basketball and cinema. Dr. Coleman and his wife Heather have two daughters.
