About Me

Amanda Correia, DO, brings a background in emergency and critical care medicine to the Intensive Care Unit at Rutland Regional. A New England native, Dr. Correia grew up in a small town in Rhode Island with a parent who worked in medicine and inspired her to become a physician. Critical Care medicine allows her to balance her gregarious, outgoing personality with a deep love of science and problem-solving.

I work hard to develop a bond with my patients while figuring out both the kind of care they need as well as the care they want.
— Amanda Correia, DO

After spending time in urban areas, Dr. Correia is looking forward to being in a smaller community again, with easy access to being outside and enjoying the natural world. She likes traveling, hiking, swimming, biking, and spending time with her family, including her cat, Charlie.
