A native of Connecticut, James Cromie is the most recent member to General Surgery at Rutland Regional.
Dr. Cromie has a strong commitment to world health and has been involved in several initiatives such as Nepal Medical Outreach, and has volunteered his time and medical services in multiple underserved regions across the globe, including Bolivia and Rwanda.
He currently resides in Mendon with his wife, Jess and is a devoted father of two daughters. His personal interests include hunting, climbing and skiing. As an experienced climber and mountaineer, he has traversed many of the world’s higher realms.
