About Me

Dr. Anne Drake grew up in Detroit, MI, and she always knew she wanted to live and work in a small, rural community. Building a relationship and trust with her patients matter. Dr. Drake treats each patient with respect and as the individual they are when she sees them in the Emergency Department.

I love working in a rural community on the front lines of healthcare in the ED. Each patient is a unique blank slate and I strive to see the full person in that moment and treat them accordingly.
— Anne Drake, MD

A strong interest in science with an equally powerful need to work with and help people inspired Dr. Drake to become a physician. She enjoys figuring out the puzzle pieces to help her patients get the care they need during emergency situations.

The Vermont landscape, the community of Rutland and the vibe of the people living here are very special, and Dr. Drake is pleased to be a part of such a wonderful place. She adores the outdoors, particularly hiking, biking, and rock climbing. She and her husband live in Rutland with their cats and dog.
