About Me

The specialty of nephrology or the study of the kidneys is Dr. Parikshit Duriseti’s passion, and he’s happy to be bringing that expertise to patients at Rutland Regional. The kidneys are an intricate and important part of the body and when they don’t function correctly the impact is considerable.

Kidney disease is scary but is treatable. It’s important to me to help patients manage concerns and objectives as well as develop better lifestyle habits to keep their kidneys functioning longer.
— Parikshit Duriseti, MD

As a child, Dr. Duriseti developed an early interest in medicine after losing a loved one to illness. He is fascinated by the complexities of the kidneys and is dedicated to helping his patients manage chronic issues that arise with kidney disease. Dr. Duriseti believes open and transparent communication is key to helping people understand and manage their illness appropriately.

Dr. Duriseti recently completed his fellowship in nephrology at the Mayo Clinic and is happy to be settling in the Northeast. He loves to travel and enjoys watching Cricket and playing Carrom, a tabletop game that originated in India.
