About Me

Cristina Fredette, APRN, was inspired to become a nurse after a family member suffered a severe injury from a car accident. Watching how amazing the nurses were who cared for him and helped improve his quality of life led to her becoming a nurse herself. Dedicated to providing compassionate, quality healthcare to the people in her community, Ms. Fredette developed her skills by first earning her bachelor’s in nursing and then her Nurse Practitioner degree.

Ms. Fredette was drawn to wound care because of its problem-solving elements. Each wound and each person are unique and respond differently to treatment. Wound care focuses on the whole patient, not just the injury, because a person’s overall health impacts how a wound heals.

I love to learn and bring new knowledge around care practices to my patients. Wound care is always changing and it’s important to stay current on evidence-based practices.

Married with two kids and three dogs, Ms. Fredette lives in Middletown Springs. Family is very important to her, and she loves to do seasonal activities with her kids as well as cooking a healthy dinner to enjoy around the family table.
