Tyler Hock, a physician assistant, has joined the team at Rutland Heart Center, a department of Rutland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hock brings with him nearly 20 years of medical experience working in EMS as a paramedic and in the emergency department as an EMS coordinator.
Mr. Hock enjoys the specialty of cardiology and, after spending many years working with cardiac patients during acute situations, he is looking forward to working with patients on preventative care. He is always learning and works hard to maintain flexibility in his engagements with patients, since everyone processes information differently.
Really listening to people is key to being a good healthcare provider. Understanding who a person is, what their needs are and why, goes a long way towards creating better, patient-focused outcomes.
A native of Rutland, Mr. Hock is happy to be back in the area and loves taking care of people in the community in which he lives. Mr. Hock is married and enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and gardening.
