Emergency Medicine specialist Nektarios Konstantinopoulos, MD, has joined Rutland Regional’s emergency department team. Dr. Konstantinopoulos enjoys the teamwork and camaraderie found in being part of a care delivery team whose focus is on keeping the patient at the forefront of every decision.
Emergency departments are a safety net for people experiencing urgent medical issues. It is vital to have a skilled medical team always available to provide that needed care.
Originally from New York, Dr. Konstantinopoulos has spent many years in Vermont, including completing medical school and residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Rutland Regional provides an environment that sees a wide breadth of patient issues which allows him to continue to advance his clinical skills, and provides the opportunity to work at a community hospital while raising his family in that same community.
