About Me

An addiction certified Nurse Practitioner, Benjamin Mahoney, DNP, APRN, found his calling during his clinical training while working with people struggling with substance use disorders (SUD). Mr. Mahoney is based at West Ridge Center, and is dedicated to improving access to care for those experiencing SUD.

Each person I help treat is an individual with different needs and goals. Collaboration and trust are necessary, and I work hard to build that with all my patients.
— Ben Mahoney, DNP, APRN

Often, people who are suffering from substance use disorders are also suffering from peripherally related health issues, such as infectious disease and chronic wounds. Mr. Mahoney has a particular interest in working with patients to help manage and treat these healthcare issues.

Originally from a small town in California, Mr. Mahoney spent the last eight years living in urban areas in Connecticut and visiting Vermont every chance he could. He loves smaller communities and the relationships that can be built here. Outside of work, you will find him caring for his bees, working in his gardens or hiking with his family.
