Dr. Mathias, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, joined the Hospital Medicine group at Rutland Regional Medical Center. He was drawn to the vast outdoor recreational opportunities in the region and the appeal of a community hospital like Rutland Regional.
It is important for me to help patients maintain a sense of dignity while they are at their most vulnerable. I try to answer all of their questions and make certain they are involved in their care coordination.
