About Me

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Denise Adriana Medrano, DNAP, CRNA, has joined Rutland Regional’s surgical services and operating room team. Ms. Medrano has always wanted to work in healthcare as she grew up in a family of nurses and was inspired by them to also become a nurse. The decision to focus on anesthesia as a specialty was attractive to her for the complexity and intellectual stimulation it provides, and most importantly, for the continued opportunity to directly care for patients. Ms. Medrano’s goal is to build relationships with her patients with trust so that every one of them feels safe and comfortable.

Feeling comfortable, safe and having a connection with the person taking care of you during a surgery is so important. I want all my patients to know I’ll be there with them every step of the way.
