Catherine Morris, APRN is a lifelong Vermonter with deep roots in Rutland County. She was a nurse for many years including the past six at Rutland Regional Medical Center, prior to earning her Nurse Practitioner degree. She was drawn to medicine because helping others is important to her, and being a Nurse Practitioner allows her to better care for her community.
When someone comes to the ED, they are hurting and often scared. I focus on being fully present, listening to and caring for them, and making sure they know what to expect at each moment.
Catherine and her family live in Shrewsbury. She loves the outdoors and lives an active lifestyle of hiking, biking, running, and skiing.
