About Me

A native New Englander, Dr. Bridget Pratt is an anesthesiologist who hails from a small town in rural Connecticut. Dr. Pratt brings to Rutland Regional her expertise in anesthesia and pain management, as well as a focus on ensuring patient safety. 

As a child, Dr. Pratt received a Barbie doctor set for Christmas from her father, and coupled with her interests in math and science, it started her on the path to becoming a physician. She chose to concentrate her training on anesthesia medicine because the intense focus needed to care for a single patient at a time was appealing to her. 

Anesthesiology training is incredibly rigorous because it is your job to keep a patient safe at a time when they are at their most vulnerable. I take that responsibility very seriously.

Dr. Pratt and her husband both grew up in a rural area and are excited about the relaxed lifestyle and extensive outdoor activities available in the Rutland area. Dr. Pratt loves to go hiking with her husband and their dog, and she’s looking forward to getting back into skiing as well as joining a CSA.
