About Me

Dr. Clara Rimmer, board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care, is looking forward to growing her career in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Rimmer chose Critical Care as her area of expertise because it is a broad specialty that is highly challenging but is also greatly impactful. She cares for patients who are very ill and navigates the difficulties and multiple types of care needs that arise when a patient reaches critical care status.

Originally from England, Dr. Rimmer came to the States to attend college and fell in love with it here. She and her husband enjoy traveling, but the Northeast is home for them and their two rescue dogs. Dr. Rimmer enjoys working with her hands and spends her free time working in her woodshop. She is excited to get to know the Rutland area and the people in this community.
