One of the original physicians at Killington Medical Clinic, Dr. James Russell is certified by the American Board of Emergency Physicians and holds a certificate in Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine from the same organization.

A long-time Vermonter, Dr. Russell received his BA from the University of Vermont in Burlington, followed by his MD from the Medical College of Vermont, also in Burlington. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Vermont and another in Emergency Medicine at the Institute of Emergency Medicine and Trauma in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Russell has been associated with Killington Medical Clinic since 1986 and with Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic since 1997.

Killington Medical Clinic

Office Hours

Dr. Russell sees patients daily during the ski season, from November through April, at Killington Medical Clinic. Walk-ins welcome.
