About Me

Dr. Facundo Stingo, a pulmonary specialist with a focus in critical care medicine, has joined Rutland Regional. Dr. Stingo is a native of Argentina where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree before completing residency and fellowship programs in Washington, DC. He is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English.

While still in high school, both his father and grandfather became quite ill. After watching the relationships that developed between his loved ones and the physicians who cared for them, it inspired Dr. Stingo towards a career in medicine.

During his time in medical school, Dr. Stingo visited Vermont for the first time and fell in love with the beautiful landscape but even more with the friendly people and strong sense of community he found here. Dr. Stingo returned on his honeymoon as both he and his wife love the outdoors. He is thrilled to have found a job and a home in Vermont. Dr. Stingo and his wife have two young children and love to take them outdoors to hike and enjoy the changing seasons.
