Biography
Dr. Susarla, a nephrologist with UVM Medical Center, is a part of the Rutland Kidney Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center. He first became acquainted with New England during his residency in internal medicine at Steward Carney Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his medical school training at Andhra Medical College at the NTR University of Health Sciences in India and his postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Physicians of London, UK.
"I strive to be the best advocate for my patients. I like to present the various options available to them, give them my recommendation and make them part of the decision process. We are a collaborative team from the very beginning," said Dr. Susarla.
Dr. Susarla enjoys a good game of chess and is hoping to find the time to learn to ski and also train for a half marathon. He lives in Vermont with his wife and two small children.
