An orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, Dr. Nicholas Tsouris specializes in sports-related injuries, arthroplasty, and joint replacements, including shoulder replacements.
Dr. Tsouris naturally gravitated to medicine because it combines his background in mechanical engineering with his lifelong love of sports, allowing him to help people stay active and perform at their best.
I want to know who my patients are and learn about the activities that matter in their lives. Whether surgical intervention is needed or not, getting them back to doing the things they love is so rewarding.
A former Division I athlete at Yale University and professional lacrosse player for the Boston Cannons, Dr. Tsouris brings firsthand experience in sports performance and injury recovery to his practice, applying the same principles of care and precision to all his patients. During his time in Colorado, he served on the medical teams for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, Colorado Rapids, and University of Colorado Division I Football. Working closely with professional and amateur athletes has given Dr. Tsouris a deep appreciation for the importance of recovery, performance, and helping every patient return to the activities they love the most.
Dr. Tsouris and his wife are excited to raise their growing family (two children with a third on the way) in Vermont. They look forward to enjoying all the Green Mountain State has to offer and to fostering a deep sense of connection and contribution within the local community.
