About Me

Stuart Weston, MD, is a critical care and emergency medicine specialist who recently joined the Intensive Care Unit at Rutland Regional. Dr. Weston’s background is in high acuity care, and he has a special interest in working with ICU patients. He completed his Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Critical Care Medicine and fell in love with New England while he was there.

Dr. Weston prides himself on supporting his patients and their families during their time of crisis. He provides the best options for medical care, discusses palliative measures, and listens to the needs of his patients.

Talking to my patients, being present and invested in them as a person outside of their medical issues, helps tremendously as they work through their personal health situation.
— Stuart Weston, MD

Originally from Texas, Dr. Weston and his wife love Vermont and the rural lifestyle here. A huge aficionado of barbeque, he loves to smoke brisket using post oak in the traditional Texas style.
