Dr. Megan Wright grew up on a diverse farm in her native Ohio, which makes Vermont seem very much like home. As a hospitalist, she enjoys caring for patients in community hospital in a rural setting.
After medical school at Northeast Ohio University, she trained in Family Medicine with an emphasis in hospital medicine through the NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire. She chose Rutland Regional for its mix of outstanding physicians in a rural setting, as well as its emphasis on Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
It’s refreshing to see an organization’s leadership focus on something that is so important to the community.
She lives in Rutland with her husband and their rescue cat, Ghost, and enjoys hiking, indoor hobbies, and gaming with friends.
