Biography
Dr. Matt Zmurko is an orthopaedic surgeon for the Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic, with an emphasis in Spine Surgery. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he has been affiliated with the VOC since spring of 2007.
He received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University College of Engineering in New Brunswick, New Jersey and his MD from the University of Maryland School Of Medicine in Baltimore. He served his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center, in Detroit, and received a Spine Surgery fellowship from the University of Virginia Health System, in Charlottesville.
The co-author of numerous scholarly medical articles and texts, Matt enjoys active membership in a wide array of surgical and orthopaedic organizations.
