Public Invited to Trunk or Treat Event at the West Ridge Center 


RUTLAND, VT – The community is invited to bring their children to the first-ever West Ridge Center Trunk or Treat event which will be held outside at the West Ridge Center on Wednesday, October 30, 5pm-7pm.

The West Ridge Center is located in the Howe Center, 1 Scale Avenue, Building 10, in Rutland. The staff and community partners will provide candy from the trunks of their decorated vehicles in and around the West Ridge Center parking lot.

The staff is getting into the spirit of the season. They are looking forward to this special event and the chance to connect with neighbors and friends.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming members of our community and their children to this event,” said Faith Stone, Program Director at the West Ridge Center. “We are all very dedicated to the work we do here at West Ridge Center, and we are enormously proud of our patients and their commitment to recovery. Every day we are inspired by their strength.”

The idea for the Trunk or Treat has been in progress for some time, and the entire West Ridge Center team is excited about this opportunity to celebrate Halloween with patients, their families, and members of our community.

The West Ridge Center was established by Rutland Regional Medical Center and opened in 2013 to help manage the growing need for addiction recovery in the Rutland area. Opioid Use Disorder affects every aspect of one’s life.
