Published on June 25, 2026
RUTLAND, VT – This week, Oliver Subaru of Rutland, in partnership with the New York/Vermont Chapter of Blood Cancer United, delivered eighty (80) blankets to the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC). The generous donation of blankets provides warmth and comfort to patients receiving cancer care and treatment at RRMC. The donation is part of the Subaru Loves to Care® program.
“We are once again grateful to Oliver Subaru for their warm and meaningful show of support,” said Dr. Allan Eisemann, Medical Director of the Foley Cancer Center. “Our providers, nurses, and staff are honored to receive these blankets on behalf of our patients. The ability to provide the blankets to those receiving care at the Foley Cancer Center is a special moment for all involved."
As part of the Subaru Loves to Care program, Subaru retailers nationwide deliver blankets to those fighting cancer in hospitals and treatment centers across the country.
The blankets were delivered to RRMC by Justin Pelerin and Mike Hewitt, both sales representatives at Oliver Subaru of Rutland. Dr. Allan Eisemann, Lindsey Munger, Director of Oncology, and Traci Moore, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations, were on hand to receive the donation of blankets.
“We are grateful for the compassionate care the hospital and the cancer center provide to patients in our community,” said Justin Pelerin. “These blankets are a simple but meaningful way to support patients receiving care at the Foley Cancer Center.”
