Patient Food & Nutrition

A wholesome, well-balanced diet of nourishing meals is an important part of your treatment and recovery. Our Food & Nutrition Services staff makes every effort to provide you with tasty meals which meet your doctor’s orders. Between-meal snacks and beverages which conform to your diet are also available through your nurse.

Please advise your nurse if you have certain dietary restrictions or requirements such as lactose free or vegetarian meals.

During your stay, you will be asked at breakfast to select your meals for the following day. A coordinator will collect your menu and assist you with your selections if you need help.

We will bring your meals to you at the following times:

• Breakfast – Between 7:30am and 8:30am
• Lunch – Between 11:55am and 1pm
• Dinner – Between 4:45pm and 5:45pm

Meal times can be adjusted if they conflict with a scheduled test, treatment, or examination.
