Visiting Hours

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we value families as an important part of the patient care team, and know that the support of loved ones is a key element in the recovery process. Our goal is to create an environment where visitors feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible, while still looking out for the needs of our patients.

  • Visiting Hours are from 9am-9pm, seven days a week.
  • Do not visit if you have cold or flu-like symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle pain, new loss of taste or smell, runny or stuffy nose, headache or diarrhea.
  • The number of visitors and hours for visitation may be restricted on certain units or for certain patients.
  • If you plan to visit a patient in isolation, you are required to wear a surgical mask and wash/sanitize your hands when entering and leaving the room, and must leave the hospital directly after the visit.
  • Visitors must check in at the desk upon entering and will be provided an identification sticker that must be worn at all times within the building.
  • We also respect the rights and needs of the patient who may be sharing a room with your loved one. For those reasons, we may request that visiting be limited based on the needs of that patient.
  • Should you need to leave the hospital, but want to remain close by, Rutland Regional Medical Center has partnerships with area hotels offering discounted rates for our patients’ family members.

The safety of our patients and our staff depends on effective infection control measures. Individuals who cannot comply will be asked to leave the facility.

Lodging Options

Should you wish to stay close to your loved one while they are in the hospital, but your home is a distance away, Rutland Regional Medical Center has partnerships with several area hotels offering discounted rates for our patients’ family members.
