Cancer Support Groups
Lean on peers in your community through cancer support groups at Rutland Regional Medical Center and the Foley Cancer Center. Discussions and meetings benefit patients, caregivers, young adults and more.
Help caregivers cope with the practical and emotional challenges of caring for someone with cancer. This essential service is provided by two area organizations: the Interage Caregiver Support Group and the Rutland County Caregiver Coalition. Call for information on classes or resources:

This support group is for men with cancer to share concerns, exchange information, and offer and receive support. Although the group is geared towards men, spouses and significant others are welcome. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 5:30pm to 7pm at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Learn more>>>
Woman to Woman Support Group
This support group is for cancer patients and survivors to discuss treatment, recovery and survivorship. New members are always welcome. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Rutland Regional Medical Center’s CVPS/Leahy Community Health Education Center. Call 802.747.1693 for details.
Vermont Young Cancer Survivors Support Group
Designed for young adult cancer survivors, this group’s discussion revolves around issues unique to young adult cancer survivors. Issues covered include dating, fertility, appearance, parenting, fighting cancer early in a career, and more. New members are always welcome.
